Hateco Haiphong International Container Terminal (HHIT) proudly marks a new milestone in Vietnam's port operations, embodying the principles of sustainability, safety, modernity, and intelligence.
As the most advanced deep-water port in Vietnam and the largest in Northern Vietnam, strategically located in the Lach Huyen area, HHIT serves as a gateway connecting directly to global maritime routes.
Spanning a total area of 73 hectares with a quay length of 900 meters and a draft depth ranging from -16.8m to -18.4m, HHIT is capable of simultaneously accommodating two large container vessels of up to 200,000 DWT (≥ 18,000 TEU) and a maximum length of 400 meters.
Additionally, HHIT boasts state-of-the-art technologies in terminal operations, including STS cranes with a reach of up to 24 container rows, an advanced e-RTG crane system, the NAVIS N4 Port Operating System, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology, a robust 5G network, and round-the-clock surveillance cameras. The fully automated gate system, integrating OCR and RFID technologies, is designed to optimize productivity and ensure precision throughout the operational process.
