On March 20, Hateco Haiphong International Container Terminal (HHIT) had the honor of welcoming a delegation of Da Nang City Party Committee for a visit and working session, shortly after Hateco Group was officially appointed as the investor of the Lien Chieu Container Port project in Danang – a key mega infrastructure project in Central Vietnam.

During the meeting, HHIT clearly demonstrated its operational capacity and efficient management processes through impressive figures:

Mr. Nguyen Van Tien – CEO of HHIT delivered a speech at the event.
In 2025, HHIT handled 808,000 TEUs; in Q1 2026 alone, throughput reached 230,000 TEUs, reflecting strong and stable growth as well as outstanding operational efficiency.

The average CMPH reaches 30 moves per hour, on par with leading international terminals.
On this occasion, HHIT’s leadership also shared practical experience in investing, developing, and operating a Green – Smart Port model, meeting international standards while aiming for sustainable development and optimal operational efficiency.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tien, CEO of HHIT, personally introduced and held discussions with the Standing Committee delegation at the site.
The leadership of HHIT affirmed:
“The progress and quality at Hateco Hai Phong International Container Terminal are the most certain evidence of Hateco's construction capabilities and commitment.
