Hateco Hai Phong International Container Terminal (HHIT) receives super crane STS

On November 3rd 2024, the three most modern and largest STS cranes in Vietnam officially arrived at berth no 5&6 of Hateco Hai Phong International Conatainer Terminal (HHIT). These are the latest and most advanced generation of STS cranes manufactured and installed by the world's leading port equipment group ZPMC Shanghai. HHIT's STS cranes have a handling range of up to 24 rows of containers (equivalent to the size of the world's largest container vessel today).

The project of berth no 5&6 of Lach Huyen Port, invested by Hateco, is being built according to the international criteria of a green - smart - modern port. Goods from HHIT will go directly to Europe, Australia, and America without transit. Thereby, helping to reduce time, costs, and improve the competitiveness of Vietnamese goods. The project is completing the final stages to put into operation in February 2025.
