December 02, 2025 – Hateco Haiphong International Container Terminal (HHIT) proudly welcomed its third equipment vessel, taking delivery of 02 additional Super Post-Panamax STS cranes (with a 24-row outreach) and 06 e-RTG cranes. These state-of-the-art units were manufactured and installed by ZPMC, the world’s leading heavy-duty port equipment manufacturer. This delivery marks a pivotal milestone in HHIT’s strategic roadmap to expand operational scale, optimize productivity, and enhance the terminal's capacity to accommodate Ultra-Large Container Vessels.

The commissioning of this modern equipment will significantly boost handling productivity, shorten vessel turnaround times, reduce carbon emissions, and optimize yard utilization. Furthermore, this expansion strengthens HHIT’s appeal to new international service loops while ensuring operations adhere to the standards of the "Green - Smart Terminal" model. With this latest arrival, Hateco Terminal has successfully commissioned a total of 07 STS cranes and 20 e-RTGs this year, adhering strictly to the projected timeline and fulfilling our firm commitments to shipping lines.
