HHIT appointed Ms. Tran Lan Phuong as the new Chief Financial Officer

On January 2, 2025, Hateco Hai Phong International Container Terminal (HHIT) held a ceremony to announce and present the decision of appointment for the position of Chief Financial Officer to Ms. Tran Lan Phuong.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Tran Van Ky, Chairman of Hateco Group, along with representatives of the Group’s Director Board, the Director Board of the member companies, and over 200 employees of HHIT.

At the event, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Chau, Head of the Human Resources Department, officially announced the decision number 48/2024/QD/HHIT-TCHC appointing Ms. Tran Lan Phuong as the Chief Financial Officer of Hateco Hai Phong International Container Terminal. The decision is effective from the date of signing.

Mr. Tran Van Ky, Chairman of Hateco Group, presented the appointment decision of the Chief Financial Officer.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Tien, CEO of HHIT, congratulated Ms. Tran Lan Phuong on being entrusted with the new role. He also expressed his hope that, in her new position, Ms. Tran Lan Phuong would continue to enhance her learning spirit, professional experience, management skills, and foster teamwork to help HHIT grow even further.

In her acceptance speech, Ms. Tran Lan Phuong expressed her gratitude to the leadership of Hateco Group, the management team, and all employees of HHIT for their trust and the responsibility entrusted to her. Ms. Tran Lan Phuong stated that being appointed as Chief Financial Officer is not only an honor but also a tremendous responsibility. She committed to putting in her utmost effort and determination, working alongside the executive team and all employees to successfully fulfill the tasks entrusted to her by HHIT's leadership.

HHIT is the unit responsible for implementing the investment project for the construction of Berths 5 and 6 at Lach Huyen Port Area, Hai Phong City. Once operational in Q1 2025, it will be the largest and most modern deep-water container port in Vietnam, operating under the green, smart port model. Currently, HHIT is a strategic partner of the world’s largest container shipping group, Maersk and APM Terminals.

The appointment of young leaders to senior positions aligns with Hateco Group’s overall strategy to create a next-generation leadership team with the qualifications and capabilities needed to meet international integration trends. This will drive the growth of HHIT and, more broadly, the continued expansion of Hateco Group.
