HHIT welcomes delegation from the U.S. Embassy and the Port of Portland (Oregon)

On March 30, 2026, Hateco Haiphong International Container Terminal (HHIT) was honored to host a high-level delegation from the United States to explore strategic partnership opportunities. The working session was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Van Tien – Vice Chairman, demonstrating HHIT’s profound respect and commitment to expanding international trade connectivity.

During the meeting, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the development potential of deep-water ports, global supply chain optimization solutions, and the strategic cooperation framework between Haiphong's maritime gateway and the State of Oregon, USA.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tien – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, representing HHIT's Leadership, presented gifts to the delegation’s representatives.

This visit not only reaffirms HHIT’s position as a pivotal maritime hub in Vietnam but also opens new horizons for Vietnam-U.S. economic relations.
